Make these bars, and take them with you. 

 

 

This recipe is quick, easy, and yummy! It can be eaten for breakfast or even a quick snack.

Ingredients

  • Bananas
  • 1/4 Cup Coconut Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 Cup Old Fashion Oats
  • 1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F.  Spray an 8×8

Step 2

Place bananas in a large bowl. Mash them with a fork until just small chunks remain. Stir in oil and brown sugar.

Step 3

Add egg, vanilla, and salt, and stir until combined.

Step 4

Stir in baking soda. Add flour, oats and chocolate chips. Stir until mixed. Spread in prepared pan.

Step 5

Bake for 20 minutes until browned around the edges

Step 6

Let cool, and enjoy

    Just made these last night. Very easy to make and the whole house smelled yummy. OOOOh, so good! My husband, who is allergic to the word “healthy”, liked them and half of the pan is gone already. Very filling, so after eating half of one bar, I was full and didn’t eat till lunch.
