Hard-boiled eggs are a must in my house!

We eat them daily for breakfast.

They can be tricky to make, to get them just right when peeling.

When my husband’s co-worker let us in on this secret! I couldn’t wait to share.

This is the best way to make them, and they peel perfectly every time!

Ingredients

  • Dozen Eggs

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Boil a large pot of water

Step 2

Once water boils, add dozen eggs, set timer for 13 minutes

Step 3

Once the timer goes off, fill a bowl big enough to fit all eggs with ice. Place eggs in ice and then fill with cold water

Step 4

Let eggs cool in ice bath about 10 minutes. Take out, and refrigerate.

The Perfect Hard-Boiled Egg

Making hard boiled eggs, and getting them to peel perfect everytime can be tricky, here is the hack I have learned.
